Your signing key is created inside your iPhone's Secure Enclave and never leaves it, not to our servers and not to iCloud. Every signature needs Face ID or Touch ID, enforced by iOS itself. If a new face or fingerprint is added to your phone, the key stops working.

Your file stays on your iPhone too. We only receive its SHA-256 fingerprint, which reveals nothing about the contents. If a single character changes, the fingerprint changes completely, so anyone can confirm the file is exactly what you signed.
